Theft suspect arrested on federal warrant
Chubbuck and Pocatello police helped the U.S. Marshal’s Service serve a warrant at the Motel 6 in Chubbuck just before 3 a.m. Tuesday. The suspect was wanted in a gun theft.
Officers located Zack Davis in one of the rooms at Motel 6 in Chubbuck.According to police, Davis was taken into custody under the federal warrant. Because there were narcotics in the room, along with small children, Chubbuck police were involved.
Pocatello police identified Davis as a suspect in a theft of a gun from Big D’s Gun Shop last month. Police had distributed surveillance footage of the incident to the public.
Police investigation is continuing.
