Deputies find tractors stolen in 2011

The Power County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday that it recovered two tractors that were stolen in November 2011.

The International tractors were taken from a farmer’s field in Power County.

On Wednesday, deputies from Power and Bingham counties executed a search warrant at the Richard C. Winberg home at South 2600 West in Aberdeen, where they recovered the stolen property.

The Power County sheriff had received information that one of the tractors was going to be sold at a farm auction later this month.

Detectives then confirmed the location of the stolen tractor that was listed on an auction flier and obtained a search warrant.

A suspect has been identified, and two counts of grand theft are pending for the theft of the tractors.
