Chubbuck Walmart evacuated, searched for bombs

Emergency crews have deemed the Walmart Supercenter in Chubbuck safe after searching the store for a bomb.

Chubbuck police were notified of the threat at 5:37 p.m. Sunday. According to police, a male subject called the store and said there was a bomb inside.

The Walmart was evacuated while police officers, Chubbuck firefighters and members of the Pocatello police and fire departments continue to search for suspicious items in the store. Nothing was found and the public is allowed back in the store.

Police said they will continue to investigate the threat.
