Youth jam kicks off in Idaho Falls

The annual Snake River Roaring Youth Jam kicked off Thursday with free art projects, experiments and music.

The jam goes through Saturday.

Toddlers to teens were on hand to check out all of the arts whether its was painting, dancing or playing the guitar.

Nightly shows at the Colonial Theater are also free of charge.

The event is an effort to keep kids interested in all of the arts.

The Snake River Roaring Youth Jam is organized by the Idaho Falls Arts Council and sponsored by Mike’s Music.
