Mother pleads guilty for leaving child in car
The mother of a 21-month-old child who died after being left in a car has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge.
Rebecca Randall made the plea in court on Thursday afternoon at the Bonneville County courthouse.She was charged with injury to a child.
The judge sentenced her to probation with no jail time.
Paramedics were called when the girl, Elizabeth, was found in the car in June in Ammon.She later died at the hospital of hyperthermia, the prosecutor said.
