2 fires burn in Caribou-Targhee

The Caribou-Targhee National Forest is working to manage two small wildfires.

As of Friday night, the Two Top Fire was burning along the Idaho-Montana border in the area of Two Top Mountain. It is burning 20 acres.

The Mosquito Fire was burning 3 acres near Mosquito Gulch.

Island Park District Ranger Liz Davy said there is no truth to rumors that evacuations were underway in the Island Park area. However, she is encouraging four-wheeler and ORV users from using trails in the Two Top area near the Continental Divide.
