Labor Day traffic gets thick on US 20 in Madison
On Monday afternoon, drivers dealt with traffic jams and multiple crashes in the construction zone on U.S. Highway 20 on the border between Jefferson and Madison counties.
As of 3:45 p.m., the southbound lane was especially treacherous.
Idaho State Police were encouraging drivers to slow down and increase following distances during their travels on Labor Day.
