Blackfoot man accused of pointing gun at 2

A Blackfoot man pointed a gun a two people Sunday night, police said.

Officers responded to the 400 block of South Boulevard in Idaho Falls around 5 p.m. after police said Juan Gonzalez-Gonzales, 31, came to a home yelling and demanding to speak to his estranged wife. He then pulled out a gun and waved it at the people at the home, they said.

Gonzalez-Gonzales left before police arrived. He was stopped on Interstate 15 by Idaho State Police. Idaho Falls police also responded to the traffic stop, where he was arrested.

He was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
