Man accused of barging into home

A Pocatello man is being held in the Bannock County Jail after police said he barged through the backdoor of a home and tried to hide in the basement early Sunday morning.

The incident happened on the 400 block Park Avenue around 2:30 a.m.

Pocatello police said a couple of household family members brought Daniel Jay Crispin, 20, back upstairs and waited for officers to arrive.

Police called an ambulance after Crispin appeared to be under the influence of a narcotic. He was medically cleared then transported to jail on charges of unlawful entry.
