BYU student wins big

A bank account turned into a big surprise for one college student Friday.

Zach Hollingshead and his new bride, both students at BYU, won $10,000. Both Idaho and Utah students who opened a new banking account with Zion’s Bank were entered to win the grand prize. Out of more than 1,000 entries, Hollingshead was chosen.

Hollingshead said he no longer has to look for scholarships.

“I’ve been working on campus and filling out FASFA’s, applying for grants here and there. But this is better than a FASFA (laughs), this is awesome,” said Hollingshead.

He also said he would use the money to help his father who needs a kidney transplant.
