Potato truck tips in Shelley
Folks traveling through Shelley on Monday morning encountered some mashed potatoes after an overturned potato truck made quite a mess across from Dean Goodsell Elementary.
The truck tipped just before 8 a.m. The potatoes rolled across the corner of Center and State.
The spilled spuds were recovered, and two trucks and a front-end loader helped right the truck.
No one was hurt in the accident.
Shelley police said the crash might have been caused by a mechanical problem. Investigation is continuing.
