Woman arrested in car burglary
A woman was caught red-handed in a car burglary, Idaho Falls police said.
Officers were called to the 100 block of Pier View Drive around 7 p.m. The victim told police she came back to her car after walking her dog and found a woman sitting in the passenger seat rifling through her purse.
The woman was identified as Stephenie K. Hemingway, 33, of Idaho Falls. She left the scene, but was picked up by police on Milligan Road.
She was arrested on a charge of vehicle burglary and booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
