Idaho Food Bank in Pocatello gets new truck

Getting food to and from the Idaho Food Bank’s Pocatello branch just got easier.

Northwest Farm Credit Services’ regional office donated money to buy a truck for the Idaho Food Bank in the Gate City, as well as one in Boise.

The truck will be a welcome addition to the few the Food Bank already owns.

In addition to donating the truck, Northwest employees donated their time at the Food Bank to prepare food for distribution.

“Making sure that we’re always concerned and worried and interesting in giving back and helping is the biggest thing for us,” said Lance Zollinger, regional vice president for Northwest. “We’re so thankful for all the support that we get from the customers that we have and the communities where we live. It’s a small repayment of that gratitude that we feel to help out and do whatever we can that way.”

The Food Bank said it appreciates all donations and always welcomes food or volunteers.
