Teton County, Idaho, crashes block Highway 33

Teton County, Idaho, deputies are investigating two separate, three-car, rear-end accidents on State Highway 33 between Victor and Driggs on Tuesday. Both happened within minutes of each other at around 2:30 p.m. One person was transported to Teton Valley Hospital in each crash.

Teton County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Valle Wells said one person was in custody and undergoing blood-alcohol tests in connection with the first crash at 6800 South. Another driver was cited for following too closely in the second crash at 5500 South.

Traffic was rerouted along a service road while the crashes were being cleared off the highway.
