Missing hunter found safe in Bonneville County
A missing 74-year-old hunter has been found, Bonneville County Sheriff Paul Wilde said.
Wilde said the man’s truck had problems in the Brockman-McCoy Creek area south of Idaho Falls.
The man, believed to be from near Preston, was expected home Thursday night.Authorities started to look for him around noon Friday and used a search plane.
The hunter was found around 4 p.m. and was in good shape, Wilde said.
Search and rescue crews were still busy in the area, though, as muddy roads were leading to vehicles of other hunters getting stuck.
