Two teens cited for threats of violence

Pocatello police are holding firm to a pledge to aggressively investigate all threats of violence in city schools.

On Monday, two 13-year-old boys were cited and released after two separate incidents at a middle school.

One of the boys was cited for threatening to physically harm another student.The incident was reported to school officials.

In the second incident, a boy was cited for bringing a weapon to the school.According to reports, the boy hid the sharp instrument to show to friends.

Police said appropriate action would be taken by law enforcement and school officials.
