Jackson Hole projects clear Wyoming Business Council

Two Jackson Hole development projects cleared the Wyoming Business Council Board of Directors meeting in Casper on Thursday.

The board recommended approval of a Business Ready Community loan to the Jackson Hole Energy Sustainability Project Joint Powers Board.The board is seeking a $766,665 Community Readiness grant to install a compressed natural gas fueling station at Shervin’s Independent Oil.

Teton County requested an $889,173 Community Readiness grant to construct 4,165 linear feet of an eight-inch sanitary sewer line, 1,550 linear feet of a 6-inch sanitary sewer line, and a lift station. It would serve an area along South Highway 89 outside the town of Jackson.

The Business Council board recommended both projects get full approval from the State Land and Investment Board at its January 17, 2014 meeting in Cheyenne.

The projects were among 13 grants totaling $15.3 million considered by the board statewide.
