Power outage affecting 200 Rocky Mountain Power customers
Rocky Mountain Power customers are experiencing another power outage in eastern Idaho. This comes just four days after a massive blackout.
The outage started after 5 a.m. Sunday. Rocky Mountain Power officials said about 200 customers are affected, down from 1,250 earlier this morning. The areas without power are in DuBois, Monteview and Terreton. The zip codes are 83423, 83435 and 83450.
Rocky Mountain Power said the cause could be from a transmission interruption due to the weather. Crews are on site and repairs are underway. They hope to have power restored by 1:30 p.m.
