Woman arrested in Pocatello stabbing
A Pocatello woman was being held in the Bannock County Jail on Friday on felony charges of aggravated battery.
Pocatello Police said Johnette Louise Piper, 38, stabbed Charles Wenee, 35, at least three times while the two were arguing over property at an apartment in the 900 block of North Hayes around 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
According to reports, Wenee suffered a cut to his right upper arm, a stab wound to his left lower leg, and a puncture would to his left shoulder.Police said the injuries were not life threatening.
Piper was arrested in the 900 block of North Seventh Avenue.
