Idaho Falls homes burglarized

Two homes were burglarized on West 16th in Idaho Falls on Saturday morning.

Police were called to one of the homes around 5 a.m. for a report of a purse theft. Someone had broken into a side door and stolen the resident’s purse. The purse was found outside hanging on the front fence.

Around 11 a.m. officers responded to another burglary, which also took place on the 200 block of West 16th.

Sometime between 7:45 a.m. and 10:50 a.m., someone broken into the home and stole cash, medications, a gaming console and miscellaneous video games, a camera, an iPad and a laptop.

Detectives are determining if these burglaries are related.
