Museum of Idaho accepts donation

The Museum of Idaho in Idaho Falls has accepted a half-million dollar donation from Bill Maeck, of the Maeck Family Foundation. The money will go to the museum’s Expansion Fund.

The donation brings the museum’s expansion campaign to $1.6 million. It has set a $2.6 million goal.

Altogether, the Maeck Foundation has donated $1 million to Museum of Idaho programs.

“It gives me great satisfaction to be able to give back to a community that has given so much to me and my family. It is very important and vital that as individuals and as a community we continue to educate, support and enrich the lives of our youth,” said Maeck.
