Quaden Bond: Distinguished Student

Ririe High School senior Quaden Bond is a student of many talents. He always seems to find the right balance between school, volunteer work, and extracurricular activities.

One activity he volunteers his time doing is making newscasts and editing video for Business Professionals of America.

“I always do the best that I can in all my school studies,” Quaden said.
Other extracurricular activities include scholastic bowl and band.

“My family – they are a big part of my life they have always encouraged me to do well in school,” Quaden said.
He says his family values also teach him to be caring, honest and hard-working. He’s a big advocate for the red cross.

“This is my fourth time donating and I’ve helped volunteer like three times.. I just enjoy it every time and it makes me feel good after I’m done,” Quaden said.

Quaden currently has a 3.8 GPA and wants to attend Boise State or BYU-Idaho, but he won’t be hitting the books right away. He has some plans first.

“After high school I want to serve an LDS mission, after that I will go to college and eventually I want to get into orthodonics,” Quaden said.
