Order pizza, fight hunger

Papa Murphy’s is teaming up with the Idaho Foodbank to raise money for hungry Idahoans.

For every HeartBaker pizza sold before Valentine’s Day, Papa Murphy’s says they’ll donate $1 to the Foodbank. The heart-shaped pepperoni pizzas are among Papa Murphy’s most popular.

“We just like to give back to the community. We’re always trying to get involved with things going around in the area. We just decided this was a really good program that we could do a lot for the Idaho Foodbank,” said Shelby Lewis, manager of the Papa Murphy’s on 17th Street.

Last February, the 17th Street Papa Murphy’s sold 2,000 HeartBaker pizzas and Lewis expects similar numbers this year.

Valentine’s Day is Feb. 14.
