Rexburg police to unveil comprehensive safety plan
Wednesday night, Rexburg police will be presenting a comprehensive safety plan to the city council. A big part of the plan will be strengthening communication with the public.
Rexburg police recently subscribed to a system called Alert ID that sends residents alerts about crimes that are occurring near them. They also created a web page with information about crimes in the area, and even included a wanted persons section.
Another part of the plan lays out how officers should maintain their physical and mental health.
