Error leads to notices on lunch balances in D93

Bonneville School District 93 parents were told their child’s lunch balance was overdrawn Monday night.

The district’s food services was set to send out its first message using PowerSchool, a Web-based information system for schools. It can be used for things like classes, grades and lunch balances.

But an error caused every parent to get a message about accounts being negative. The district is apologizing for the mistake and is asking for patience as it launches PowerSchool.
