2 people arrested in Island Park shooting

One man is in the hospital and two people have been arrested after a shooting Sunday afternoon in Island Park.

The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office says around 2:40 p.m. on Sunday, deputies responded to a residence at 3322 Lariat Drive, in reference to a man with reported gunshot wounds.

The victim is Eric Norlen, 49, of Driggs. He is currently at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was taken there by helicopter ambulance. His condition is not yet known.

Two suspects have been arrested on Attempted Murder charges by Fremont County Deputies: Jermaine Wiley, 20, of Bakersfield, CA & Jessica Brown, 24, of Utah

Wiley was arrested south of Ashton on Highway 20 and Brown was arrested in Island Park .

The Sheriff’s office has not said yet what events led to the shooting, or exactly how the suspects were apprehended

Wiley’s bond is set at $1,000,000. Brown’s bond Set at $500,000.
