Local students seek donations for Wash. landslide victims

The Bonneville High School student body is collecting donations to send to a high school in Snohomish County, Wash. Many of the school’s students were affected by last month’s deadly landslide.

“We’re looking for athletic equipment. Their school really needs athletic equipment. We’re also looking for any clothes or boots, any toys that would help them out,” said student body president Kelsie Williams.

Students said the landslide hit close to home because one of their teachers has family in the affected area.

If you would like to donate, you can call Bonneville High School during the week at 525-4406.
