Local group helps clean animal shelter

Members of a local group took time out of their day to clean the Blackfoot Animal Shelter. The group consists of local students and is called “Dogs R Us.”

They meet once a month to work on community service projects. On Friday, they picked up trash around the shelter.

“This is to help and serve our community with good things and helping the dogs and cats not get euthanized,” said Catrina Rodriguez.

The group is also trying to raise money for new supplies and would eventually like to build a new shelter. If you would like to volunteer or donate, call 208-680-5567.
