Woman hospitalized after rollover near Tetonia

A woman was hurt in a one-car rollover in Teton County, Idaho, on Tuesday morning.

Idaho State Police said Shayla Waddle, 27, of Victor, was driving a 2004 Dodge Neon west on State Highway 33 near Tetonia.

Police said Waddle crossed over into the eastbound lane and went off the road on the opposite side, where she hit an embankment. The car went airborne, overturned several times and came to rest on its roof.

Police said Waddle was not wearing a seat belt.

Air Idaho transported her to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. Also at the crash were the Teton County Sheriff’s Office and Teton County EMS.

ISP is investigating the accident.
