Morning/Noon News Anchor

NPG of Idaho and VistaWest Media has an opening for a morning and noon news anchor.

We are looking for an individual who has reporting experience and wants to move into the anchor chair. We need someone who can take the bull by the horns and make one of the best morning / noon newscasts in the market.

The candidate will be responsible for producing and anchoring the noon newscasts as well as reporting special stories during sweep months

This includes shooting, writing, and editing for stories both on-air and online. You will also be involved with social media. You will also be required to participate in community and station events.

You will work with some of the highest digital technology in the market, including Sony XDCAM HD cameras, Velocity editors, ENPS and three live trucks.

Candidates must have a degree in journalism, media, or related field.
