Man arrested after high-speed chase in Idaho Falls

An Idaho Falls man was arrested Tuesday night after allegedly leading police on a high-speed chase.

Police were called to a fight on the 400 block of K Street around 7:30 p.m. They said Michael B. Mora III, 31, was involved.

As they arrived, Mora drove away in a car. Police said they tried to stop him, but he continued down K, Canal and Ada at high speeds.

Officers lost sight of Mora until they found him on North Boulevard, and he finally stopped.

Mora was arrested on charges of felony eluding, as well as a misdemeanor warrant for a probation violation. He was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
