Chick-fil-A coming to BYU-Idaho

Students at Brigham Young University-Idaho will have a major food chain joining its student center food court.

College representative Marc Stevens said Friday the university has reached an agreement with Chick-fil-A.

“BYU-Idaho is pleased to partner with Chick-fil-A,” said Todd Huchendorf, director of University Food Services, in a news release. “They offer a product that’s popular with students and that’s a good fit with the other offerings available in The Crossroads. We look forward to having them on campus.”

Construction is expected to begin in July.

The restaurant will be open to the public as well as students. It will observe cooperate and university standards by being closed on Sundays. On other days, it will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
