Suspect Tased in Fred Meyer parking lot

An Idaho Falls man was arrested after police said he ran from them through the Fred Meyer parking lot.

On Thursday afternoon, Idaho Falls police got a tip that wanted man James B. Stark III, was at Fred Meyer on Northgate Mile. When officers contacted Stark, he ran out of the building.

Police used a Taser on him when he fled through the parking lot.

Stark was arrested on charges of felony trafficking and resisting and obstructing an officer.

While he was being placed under arrest, officers found Stark had 29 grams of methamphetamine and $3,100 in cash.

He was also booked into the Bonneville County Jail on a U.S. District Court warrant and a Bonneville County sheriff’s warrant.
