Train hits vehicle in Fort Hall

A train struck a vehicle in the Fort Hall Indian Reservation on Tuesday afternoon.

According to a news release, the vehicle was struck around 3 p.m. at the Sheepskin railroad crossing. No one died or was hurt in the accident. Crews did not find any fuel leakage.

The railroad crossings at Agency and Sheepskin were closed until 5 p.m.

The reservation did not release the cause of the accident, the name of the driver and what kind of vehicle was involved. We will update this page if more information becomes available.
