2 arrested after pistol fired in Idaho Falls

Two people were arrested at Seventh and Lee Street in Idaho Falls at 11:50 p.m. Friday after police were told a man was firing a pistol into the air.

Police said John D. Stuart, 41, was booked into the Bonneville County Jail on charges of being a felon with possession of a firearm.

Elizabeth Bleifield, 43, was booked into jail on the same charge because she was identified as the person who handed Stuart the gun.
