Free walk-in recovery center set to open in Blackfoot
A new recovery center is set to open for the public in Blackfoot next week, but this one is different than most, because its services are free.
The center called A to Z Family Services will open July 15. People can drop in with any concerns about drug or alcohol use. CEO Rebecca Perrenoud said it will have a recovery coach on staff that can help with education or emotional support.
“We are trying to fill the gap for those that don’t have access to services or don’t know where to go. We will connect to resources, help with job hunting, parenting support and we will also have support groups. It will be a sanctuary for support,” said Perrenoud.
A to Z Family Services is located on South Broadway in Blackfoot. It will be open every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from noon to 5 p.m.
