Fatality crash south of Idaho Falls

Idaho State Police are investigating a fatal crash on Interstate 15 t south of Idaho Falls. The collision happened early Sunday morning.

Roger Gibson, of California, was driving a motorcycle in the southbound lanes at milepost 114 at the time of the collision. ISP said Gibson drove off the left shoulder, came back onto the roadway and then over-corrected. The motorcycle then rolled and struck the guardrail.

Gibson was pronounced dead on the scene. It is not known whether Gibson was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
