Rollover kills Idaho Falls woman; 3 kids taken to hospital

A 35-year-old woman from Idaho Falls died Sunday after her vehicle rolled north of Paradise Road, the Bingham County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies said Jorlei C. Gillis was driving south on Bone Road when she lost control of her vehicle taking a curve. Gillis was in the car with three children and Martin L. Shipp, 26, of Idaho Falls. Gillis died at the scene and Shipp was taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

The three children were also taken to EIRMC for treatment. The children’s ages are 7, 11 and 13. The investigation is ongoing.
