Man cited in deadly pedestrian accident

An Idaho Falls man has been cited for misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter and failure to yield to a pedestrian after an accident that resulted in a man’s death.

The accident happened at the intersection of John Adams and Lincoln on June 8. Kelly R. Noack was driving a 1993 Subaru Legacy when he collided with the 83-year-old pedestrian, Lloyd Pickett, in the intersection, Idaho Falls police said.

Pickett died as a result of injuries sustained in the accident June 24.

Noack, 34, was cited Friday night at the Idaho Falls Police Station.
