Teton County deputies arrest two in heroin investigation
Two men were arrested August 14, 2014 after Jackson Police and the Teton County Sheriff’s Office searched a home in the 100 block of Aspen Drive.
According to the Sheriff’s office, deputies seized heroin, marijuana, prescription pills, possible bath salts, cash, a variety of drug paraphernalia and a firearm.
Anthony Nykun, 21, of Jackson was arrested on three counts of delivery of a controlled substance, heroin.
Mason Harpe, 25, of Columbia, South Carolina was arrested for possession of heroin and possession of marijuana.
The sheriff’s office said there has been a heavy influx of heroin into Teton County over the past year. In a news release, Sergeant Tom Combs said there is deep concern about the number of young adults rumored to be experimenting with heroin.
