Two men were arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop on Interstate 15 just south of the Exit 67 southbound off-ramp at 1:55 p.m. Monday.

Pocatello Police pulled over a van driven by William Clayton Brown, 29, for failing to signal a turn while entering the interstate. A police dog alerted police to the presence of narcotics in the van.

The van was searched and police recovered heroin, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Brown was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

A passenger, identified as James Earl Pfeiffer, 26, was arrested on two outstanding warrants for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.

Both were being held in the Bannock County Jail pending arraignment on the charges.
