Accident kills one at St. Anthony Sand Dunes
A man died in an ATV accident Wednesday at the St. Anthony Sand Dunes.
Emergency responders from the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office, Fremont County EMS, Air Idaho Rescue, and BLM responded to the accident.
Upon arrival, medical personnel determined the driver, Phillip J. McDonald of Hastings, Nebraska, had died of his injuries.
“All the above agencies would like to offer condolences to the McDonald family and remind ATV riders to drive careful while recreating on the sand dunes this holiday weekend,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement Wednesday evening.
