Missing Montana student dies in car accident

A family friend posted a message to aFacebook Pageset up for the search.Holly Hayes says “Thank you all for everything you’ve done Finding Lucius Robbi. This evening he was found. He passed in a fatal car accident and my heart goes out to all who had the pleasure of knowing him and to all those who have been touched by him.”
Officials with Boise and Custer counties say they are not releasing any more information at this time.

The Boise County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help finding a 21-year-old University of Montana student last seen in Horseshoe Bend in southwest Idaho.
The last contact Lucius Robbi of Orleans, California, had with his family was at about 2 p.m. August 19th.
He was supposed to attend orientation at the school on August 20th but never arrived.
He’s driving a green 1997 Subaru Legacy with California plates and one or two kayaks on top.
It’s unclear which route Robbi might have chosen to drive to Montana.
Robbi was working at a local rafting company in Idaho.
