Sugar City Hall in last phase of renovation project

The Sugar City hall renovation project is in it’s final phase. The $25,000 project started back in 2004 and is wrapping up with exterior finishes.

Mayor Glenn Dalling said the interior of the building got a complete renovation. He said crews enlarged the City Council room and added extra rooms. On Tuesday, crews were putting stone veneer on the outside. They will also add a new entryway.

“We think it gives a new look to city hall. With the closure of the grocery store and Maverick store we needed something that looked like there might be some prosperity in Sugar City,” said Dalling

Construction should be complete in mid-September.
