Edgemont Elementary holds grand opening
The new Edgemont Elementary School held its official grand opening in Idaho Falls on Thursday morning.
Hundreds of students were on hand for the occasion as well as educators and several community leaders.
For the first time, Edgemont will have its own stage.
“(At) our old school, we didn’t have any place to do a play, really. It was really difficult in the old multi-purpose room, but now it’s just such a better facility and we can really facilitate a lot more learning and education, but also give students opportunities that they couldn’t have before,” said Dave Webster, principal at Edgemont Elementary.
