Protesters call for Dunn recall

Several people in Jefferson County were trying to round up voters to recall Prosecuting Attorney Robin Dunn.

Supporters of the recall were standing on the corner of North State and East Main Street in Rigby on Saturday.

Dunn has served as Jefferson County’s prosecuting attorney for more than 30 years, but some in the county say he can no longer be trusted.

Leaders of the Restoring Integrity Project have led the charge to get the recall on Tuesday’s ballot, and they say they’re not done yet.

“Every single vote counts,” said Amber Walker of Jefferson County. “We need a little over 9,000 votes to get Mr. Dunn out of office, and so we need them to get out and if they stay home they are essentially voting to keep him in office.”
