The Bonneville High School student council was honored this week with the National Gold Council of Excellence Award.
To get this award a student council has to submit a professional portfolio. They track all of the activities done through out the year that demonstrate leadership.
Everything from community service projects to school spirit activities.
Members of Bonneville High student council said it took a lot of work, but it was well worth it.
“Now that we’re ranked nationally as a gold council of excellence, I think it’ll go to show the students how hard we work, and how much we care for the school and that we want to improve our school,” said student body historian Hannah Jorgensen.
