Henry’s Fork property to become sportsman access

The Henry’s Fork Foundation has purchased property east of St. Anthony from the family of the late Harris “Huck” and Betty Moon. In cooperation with Fremont County, it will be used as a public recreational access to the Henry’s Fork.

The half-acre parcel is located on the east side of the river near the Del Rio Bridge. The area has long been used as a fisherman’s access. Foundation Executive Director Brandon Hoffner said HFF hopes to develop the property to include a boat launch ramp, portable toilets, interpretative signing, and picnic area.

Ownership of the property will be transferred to Fremont County by the end of May.
