ISU celebrates Veteran and Military Appreciation Week

All week long Idaho State University is celebrating its first-ever Veteran and Military Appreciation Week.

The week kicked off Monday as 92 crosses bearing the names and photos of fallen soldiers from Idaho were placed in front of the ISU administration building.

The rest of the week’s events are as follows:

Tuesday
Veteran and Military Resources Awareness Day with activities from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Quad.

Wednesday
PTSD and TBI, or Traumatic Brain Injury, Awareness Day with activities (including a puppy kissing booth) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Quad.

Thursday
Re-dedication of the ISU Veterans Memorial at Cadet Field from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Friday
Kappa Sigma Ride for the Troops at 4 p.m., in which members of the fraternity will ride bikes around the Quad.
