Labor Dept. to hold job seminar Tuesday

The Idaho Department of Labor plans to hold a special after-hours job seminar at its Pocatello office on Tuesday, May 12.

The seminar will go over interview and resume-building skills. It will also highlight why it’s currently a good time to apply for jobs in Bannock County.

The department’s regional economist Dan Cravens said the county’s unemployment rate currently sits at 4 percent, but that many job-seekers still believe it’s difficult to find a job.

The seminar runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Idaho Department of Labor, 430 North 5th Avenue, Pocatello. No RSVP is required.
